Tour Championship 2020 is cancelled due to Corona Virus.
Announced in April 2018, Tour Championship is to be played in 2019 for the first time.
The venue for the first Tour Championship, sponsored by Coral, is Cymru located in Llandudno, Wales under the supervision of WPBSA.
The tournament is the final event in Coral Cup series of the current season. The top 8 ranked players were drawn against each on one-year ranking.
This is a ranking tournament with the lowest contestants comprising of only eight players.
The matches of the event comprise of quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final. The quarters and the semi-finals were played in two sessions, where these matches were played over the best of 17 and 19 frames, respectively.
The final of the event would be the first one of its nature which is to be played over two days.
